Location and how to get there

Just two hours from the city of merida in the township (aldea) of Saisayal, Azulita, we can find the Posada El Tao and the marvelous services offered in its instalations.  Located 1200 meters above sea level, its climate is ideal for hundreds of birds of different species and an exhuberant vegetation including coffee plantations, pastures and a great variety of aromatic plants and flowers.

The Posada is designed with comfortable and spacious cabins (typical andean), a spacious main house with wood burning stoves in the kitchen, a tea house, solarium, sauna facility, garden, sugar cane machinery, herbarium amongst other natural enchantments.

How to get there?
From Caracas by plane via the cities of Merida or El Vigia, one hour and 45 minutes. By land the Panamerican Highway from  Valencia, Barquisimeto, Agua Viva, Santa Elena de Arenales, La Azulita.
