Only 10 minutes and 10  Kms. from the city of Merida is the Posada Restaurant  Estancia Mucunuy.  It is a traditional Hacienda built at the end of the XIX century, full of history, music silvestre and architecture sin equal, Considered in the Bienal of Architecture (August 1998) as the best restoration on a national level; equally it was presented in the  Bienal Arquitectónica Latinoamericana in Quito Ecuador (November 1998).  Our priveledged location (1750 above sea level) and excellent climate (temperature 19-20º C.), convert this Estancia into an incomparable place for our guests to relax and enjoy their well earned vacation, here they will live an unforgettable experience.

                            Our facilities offer:
11 rooms and 5 cabins with a variable capacity, up to a maximum of 9 persons, each with private bath, hot water and TV.  Bar-B-Que, Restaurant, Bar, Private Parking, Stables and soon: A Botanical Andes type Garden. Rides en horse driven carts and recreational park areas. We offer: Special services for Conventions, Graduations, Weddings, Baptisms, etc. Horseback riding and Bicycle tours via espactacular mountain paths.  Economic Prices.
