and longest (12.5 Km.) cable car which reaches Pico Espejo.

eighteenth century and furnished to offer the best accommodations in
the area. With wooden ceilings and floors, each of the ten rooms
has a chimney or woodburning stove and a private bath with hot running

located in Apartaderos, a quaint little town in Merida state. In
the heart of the Venezuelan Andes, it is easily reached, both from the
city of Merida, one hour away, and the city of Barinas, a two hour
scenic ride.
