Principally
because of government promotional involvement, Mérida has High and Low tourist
seasons. Our “man-made seasons”
have nothing to do with the weather.
Year around, our climate is
considered near perfect. Mérida
has always been a favorite tourist destination of Venezuelans.
During the four High Seasons which may total three months, our tourist
facilities operate at near 100% capacity.
The rest of the year, their use is minimal and our idyllic semi
tropic lives in the
Andes return to a slower, less hectic pace.
andesholidays.com
calls these Low Seasons, our:
LOW
SEASONS. They
total about 75% of the year!
For our international tourists,
LOW
SEASONS
are
a blessing.
